Re: just bought a rc10b2 new built
k thanks. this car has the 3 hole rear arms since it is a new built buggy so i would say its a "TRUE" B2 buggy. will post up some pics of the body going to add a couple correct stickers. i know its not the same body as matts car, but the paint job is close and very well done.

Staple removed or incorrect packaging, it looks like the staple was removed and parts changed.

Re: just bought a rc10b2 new built
My new built b2 built from kit form has 2 hole rear arms. I've also seen other new in pack b2 arms vary from 2 hole to 3 hole over the years.
If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

I´ve got both 2 and 3 hole versions NIP with the same part number.
But also a couple of sets with two different part numbers.

Re: just bought a rc10b2 new built
now as far as RARE parts go for these cars (since i hear that alot when it comes to these cars) minus the super rare pre production parts(trans mount & no hole rear chassis plate), which are the rare hard to find parts for these cars???
so far from what i have read:
1. the front wheels
2. the no sway bar hole front top plate
3. white steering bell cranks
any other parts????

Re: just bought a rc10b2 new built
The 9240 chassis plate is not easy to come by. 9200 standard chassis is pricey now when found. If duplicating the manual as far as electronics then the Reedy cells, LRP Esc and the Airtronics 94155 is a challenge to locate.

The correct chassis with no holes for the rear sway bar is very rare and often overlooked. The part number continued on the newer version with holes.

What is that big hump under the window of the body for? I could see a small hump like on the re-re RC10 body, and my B3 lid has a little hump, but the one on that B2 is HUGE.

Re: just bought a rc10b2 new built
The B2 came in two virgins, the Sport and Racer...that body is for the Sport, which was boxed with a mechanical speed control. The Racer was ESC, and had the much smaller bump.
