- The full A&L conversion -

Post by Asso_man! »

Hi guys, as I'm enjoying some holiday right now, I'm having some good time revisiting and revamping some old projects I have accumulated parts for and never had time to finish. This was the case of my A&L conversion kit, one of the first RC10 kits I purchased when I started collecting. Today, it received a MIP tranny with TQ10 motor plate and Parma gear cover, A&L steering kit, gold shocks all around, a brand new white front end with wide track front arms and some new turnbuckles. It also has the long shock A&L front shock tower! I tried to stay the more period correct for this one as this is a great kit. As soon as it gets here, I'll fit the Composite Craft nose plate I recently bought from Scr8p. I will also have to find a body for it, but I haven't make up my mind as which one would fit best, time will tell...
Hope you like it!

I do have a LOT of them, it's just that I sticked those decals before I thought I would go for period correctness and now I have problems with the police that smoke too much their period weed :P I'll swap them ASAP as I don't want to pay a fine

I guess I could be picky and say "Full Conversion?...... then where is the A&L Tranny?"

Looks fantastic!

Out of curiousity, which rpm decals would be period correct?

The same as the head card with the blue RPM letters. I have a couple sheets like this.

Ok, thanks. I have a few single versions in black. So, I gather I used the correct ones on my A&L.

I had one and sold it unfortunately, I would be in to buy a yellow one, but they are quite rare, I haven't seen one for sale for a while...
