Rad 2

Guy near me has a Rad 2 on Craig's...I really don't know much at all about this model, but it looks interesting and in pretty nice condition.
What's the low down on this vehicle? Was it a decent performer? Break easily? Is his price reasonable?

Think of the rad2 like a losi junior 2. Plastic chassis but good gearbox and suspension. Plastic shocks are fair at best. For the money it was a killer entry level car but they did break chassis, idler gears, and plastic shocks. Good car but not 150 worth imo.

150 would be a good price if it had the graphite chassis upgrade.
I do wonder what the 'many' upgrades are in fact.

Maybe you can talk the price down if you get him to sell the electronics separately?

I think the gears are still the same on the rustler so that makes the gearbox really good for a vintage racer project
