On the original worlds car chassis are there white lettering that say worlds car on the side of the tub?

No, just a black C stamp tub with some milling and hard anno

it was laser etched as I found out today from the former owner.

is there a difference from asc6302 original chassis vs re-release world's car chassis?

Cool that it is lazer etched!
The main difference between the old and new chassis, is the new "rere" has no c stamp on the back. I think also a different type of aluminium, and the battery tray holes may be moved a bit forward to fit lipos, but not 100% sure! Main thing is no stamp!

Rod is right the battery cup holes have been move forward 4mm.
