Have an Original gold chassis car.... need to update some...

Post by 4DrMopar »

Ok,so, my brother dug out his original Gold chassis car.... and has been thinking about freshing it up and running a new dirt track around us.... soooo, where do I get wheels and tires to fit it? What shocks fit? anything else transplant to it? If you had the choice between a TQ10 and gold chsssis car, which one would you take and run?? for that matter, which one brings more to sell! lol
Thanks in advance..

That's a bunch o' questions few will have the patience to tackle, and you probably have a few more where those came from. If it were me I'd play with the search function and read through as many old posts as I can dig up. You'll figure it all out and then some. That's the way I've brought myself back into the hobby, as I've been out of it since about 1987.

Y'ernat Al is right you definantly need to play with the search function on this site. Also if you are lookming to bring the car back to life to run then you might want to take the time to gain B/S/T privleges, there is always stuff in there for these old cars. You can also hit E-Bay. As far as which one brings more to sell it all depends on the buyer, the condition of the car, and so much more. If the track is an oval then you may want to chekck speedys here is a link that will take you straight to the Associated page. http://www.speedysracingparts.com/Associated.htm Hope this helps ya.
You run me in the grass imma run you in the wall, drive like a racer not a flippin idiot
