Worked on the front end and finished cutting out the top deck. Everything seems to be lining up pretty good. Now to break the top deck

You will be the first! You have to get it to delaminate just right. I would score deeply with an exacto knife where you want the breaks. Hope you have spares, because it may take several tries to get it just right!

Nice copy of the servo label, wonder what it meant? Is it Japanese for Super Fast or just an L with a circle?

No going back now, it's broken! :D not perfect but it will do. After all it is only a dummy car right?

Made progress this weekend. This is how it sits right now, getting closer to a complete car. :D defiantly a labor of love!

Man you progressed quickly! Lovve all your attention to detail from the special sticker on teh servo to the broken top deck and making the front body post dirty! Spot on! Will you also make your own rear shock tower? You have Jake's one there right now right? Your copper rear springs are on the way too 8)

Thanks for complements David, it means a lot coming from you. Your cars are always first class! 8) A few snow days with the kids helped with my progress. :) Rear shock tower is my own, It's a lil different than the NIX kit. Actually most of my hand made parts have a slight difference to them. Not that the Nix team got it wrong, but I wanted mine to be unique. Anyways I'm having a lot of fun building this car and hope others enjoy checking out my progress :D

Made some old school home brew "G10" fiberglass. Tried to make it transparent like the old associated fiberglass was. Does it look close? Cut out my front and rear shock towers.
