1984 CRP Catalog Scorpion Tribute
Here's a pic of one of my favorite Scorpions, first seen the pic of it on rcchopshop years ago.
Was very lucky to be able to buy the rear cage, a part you never see for sale.
Will list parts used and more pics when I cut them down for upload.

I like how you took the photo in black and white to match the original ad.

Re: 1984 CRP Catalog Scorpion Tribute
I tried to get the same pose as the original, not exact but close.
And Hugger you are right it was a color pic that I greyscaled.
Will get the pics resized and post them.
Have searched all over for more pics of the original, have only seen the 1 pic from the catalog.

You have to lose that new body, plastic roller bar and roof Mike.

Re: 1984 CRP Catalog Scorpion Tribute
I hear you Lars
I will admit I was torn on using the re re parts, I may end up changing them at some point, it's just so nice to have new parts to work with.
Absolutely no pain or discomfort was felt in cutting the roller cage to fit, or drilling a hole in the tub for the servo saver support
Have the same dilemma on a couple of more builds, and will probably go the same way with them.
