I don't watch videos which start with fast-mo of a beanie-wearing guy indoors. Sorry.

Your loss. Appearance and accent aside, the guy's an amazing fabricator and RC car builder.

Looks like fun to me. I'd love to try driving one of the big 1/5 scale cars... but I don't know where I'd store one.

He should have made the blower belt turn, though...

So skip 30 seconds into the vid to get past it. The guy has some serious knowledge and skill to be appreciated.

A link from one of the vids was to a lipo fire that decimated his friend's hobby shed, reminded me of one of my Clodtalk friends who had a similar tragedy in his basement, nearly lost his house over it.

Hi Guys,

When the local track said I needed a LiPo sack to charge them, they lost me, since I'm not racing I

have stuck with NiMh's.

I do have a RC Jet boat that uses a LiPo, I charge it in a metal tool box outside, never inside.

Cheers, Dave.

No harm in being safe with lipo batteries. I was just outside with my FS Racing 5th scale truck. I bought it used from a member on another site a few years back.

For the measly $350 I paid, I have had a great time with it. here is a link to his video when he was selling it. Heck of deal and 60 minute run times are awesome.

I have modified it abit, upgraded a few things as well. 4WD conversion is next.
