Kyosho CB 88 and CB 89 shock dampers - NIP (Modification)

Just wanted to let you guys know, I won these off ebay a month or so ago, came from China, all new in glass box, sealed - brand new CB 88 and CB 89 dampers for the kyosho range of 1/6 scale buggies in the 1970s. These look great and function very well. I believe these were the original or initial design, it than changed to once with only the bottom screwable retainer?

I got these and fitted ball head to the top for that scale look and more usability at odd chamber angles, but more for the looks All vintage brass, nicely machined rod/ball ends. Also I put in a brass bushing at the bottm for the piston shaft so its nice and straight all the time.

thanks a lot guys, I got them new so I wanted to show or provide 'documentation' of how a sealed kyosho special CB 88s look like in its original box with hardware and instruction.

I will post a separate thread on the beetle, haven't gotten a chance to put description to the pics yet, I have to take in more detailed pics and post it.
