Belt conversion most likely for Stinger mk1. Possibly Optima, but unlikely without revised gearbox and idler.

Nope this is a belt conversion set for the 834B that replaces the chain system (obviously)

It would be nice to see a measurement, those pullies look too big for the 834b- and they have the 4 screw holes that have the same pattern as a kyosho gear diff

So, a few of these have been kicking around on eBay and were advertised for a yokomo dogfighter. Excitedly, I bought one but upon arrival I had a good look and I tend to agree with Jeff's comments. The pulleys are a bit big and are reminiscent of optima ones. However, I can't see how the gear would fit properly into the pulleys.

So now I'm less excited...I wanted a belt drive system for an 834b rebuild....

I'm 99% sure it would bolt onto a case half of an optima. You would remove the chain side and leave the gear side intact. Same with stinger. You can see the cross pin fits in the gear side

It would be nice to get a belt measurement, then we could say for sure optima or stinger. The kyosho belt conversion for the stinger lacked a rear trans case, but the optima had one and added a simple pulley to control the belt. Aftermarket may have not deemed it necessary
