Got mine today too. Box is a joke... What is a "front bamper"? No quality control on the English at Kyosho?
Anyway, I love this thing. Parts are top notch and going together nicely... I hear it's limited so since they have all these hopups coming I wonder if the Turbo is next?

Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion
Sounds like everyone is really please with the new Scorpion. I love the builds that I have seen so far. I am planning on buying a set of re re rims for my Tommy and I was wondering if it looks possible to drill a 5 hole pattern into those rims? I was hoping to customize a set myself but there are no available pics of the backside. I figured the only thing that would stop me would be if there is some sort of backing support and how they are spaced. I planned on getting a set regardless, but it would be nice to make them look original. I see they come in chrome or matte, which would look more original?
I am only asking because I have (still) never owned a set of rims for this buggy
I will let you guys know about my shopping experience with Banzai Hobby also, since nobody has dealt with them and they seem to be the only place for parts at the moment. I love their prices though and I should probably pick up a black tub and wing to have when I order my Re-Re

You should be able to drill the holes just fine between the 5 ribs.

The economy shipping (SAL) varies between 2 and 3 weeksTM Ru22311 wrote:Thank youRaman wrote:I've dealt with Banzai, plenty.. Never had an issueThe shipping rates seemed very reasonable, how is the shipping wait to the States?

Well, this is a little disappointing... It's not as if I'm building it for the shelf, or anything, but still...

The other 3 are fine. I guess as long as there are no more "surprises," I'll be ok with it.

Do they have "Good Year" on one side and "Sand Super" on the other? That would be awesome!

What do you guys use to paint your tire lettering (or touch up)?

Yes they have the Sand Super raised lettering but you need to paint them yourself

One of my rears was like that too.
To letter the tires you can use a fine tip paint pen. Many different kinds but The sharpie brand works well and is easy to find at like Joann's.
