I went old school motor, speed control and battery with a late model radio on mine. For the little it will get ran it should be fine. Plenty fast for playing in the street
I do need to play with the esc mounting tho, it is holding the body up a tad bit

They saved a lot of money on the decals by dropping that letter lol

Looks awesome gomachv. I see you used the 50th Aniv. sticker too. I just couldn't resist.

It needed something for the front, and most of the stickers were long and skinny. Im having a hard time getting behind the new looking logo too. All in a for a quick spray it was OK but I'll probably grab another body and go for a more 80's red yellow and orange on black theme like the old Simpson jackets

I wanted to pay tribute to my wife and sons birthplace.. Brazil.. Yellow Green and Blue. I almost went with Green body but chose blue instead.. But spare rear lexan wing in Green.gomachv wrote:I went old school motor, speed control and battery with a late model radio on mine. For the little it will get ran it should be fine. Decals: I have repros from TBG's nephew Nathan.. I plan on using those since it has more sponsors than the re-re decals sheet..
Should have it all together by Monday.

Wasn't gonna, but did; just placed an order with RPP Hobby. Already have a paint scheme in mind, and the tub will not be yellow...

Anyone noticed that in the option list they have two sizes of carbon shock mounts: the regular ones and longer ones for "HG" shocks? The shocks aren't listed, anyone know what they are?

Kyosho uses the term "high grade" with a couple items, perhaps that's where they are going with itEvolutionRevolution wrote:Anyone noticed that in the option list they have two sizes of carbon shock mounts: the regular ones and longer ones for "HG" shocks? Nice work. I like that you used old school decals on it.
We're gonna need an official Scorpion re-re thread section like the re-re RC10 has.
