ESCs on the right and receivers on the left, or receivers on the shock tower to a lesser extent, just look.... wrong. No particular reason, they just shouldn't be that way lol

Bringing this thread back. Any updated pics? I'm trying to place the electronics and having trouble with the body fitting. I have a castle ESC where the wires from the motor mount on the top. Trying to find a way to move things around. Thinking of turning the battery left to right instead of front to back. Any issues if the battery is not centered? Picked up a shortly lipo from SMC. Can I mount the esc on the shock brace?

Definitely center the battery. Being offset will make it heavy on that one side. I had to drill 4 small holes on mine.

Thanks for the help. I'll take your advise and rearrange so the battery is centered.

With the new 2.4ghz radios do I still need to run the antenna or can it be tucked away under the body?

If you aren't going far, like at a track, it can just be tucked under the body, rolled up, or whatever. None of my cars have an antennae anymore.
