Cut the window's out, and that will look sharp!!!, any waviness to the look, will water sanding be needed? perfect to an all carbon car.

Really good job Jerzi. I look forward to seeing the progress you make.

I have to say that I am a fan of the raw carbon finish.

Keep up the good work.

Do you think cutting out the windows would compromise the a-pillers/roof with this body construction method? I think the looks of it would be great, but to possibly sacrifice structural integrity for cosmetics would be bad.

I'd think as long as it isnt the full window, It would be ok. If you did front and side windows. have about 3/8" border around the front and sides and a 3/4" inch on the side by the shock towers.

Inspiring work, Jerzi. I'd second the window cutouts, but maybe on version 2 you could think of a double layer or stringers for strength in the cab? That may replace some of the integrity, best of both so to speak.

Looks good. In 1:1 cars, they are making a lot more parts out of carbon and the new thing is a paint scheme that is masked so carbon shows through in key areas as part of the paint scheme. Maybe maintain strength buy painting the windows similar to the stickers Traxxas uses on their vehicles. A half paint job, half carbon would look sweet with some creative masking maybe tribal style leading into the exposed carbon.

I'd like to know a bit more about your process/mold building. Are you vacuum baging?
