RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!

Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
Ah, good point! I totally didn't catch that. Yes, I think he is referring to people who ordered more than one tranny. Okay, whew! So everyone will get at least one. Yeah, had me scared there for a bit. Thanks for clarifying!

Wow just got my "refund" for one of the tranny cases I ordered....
BUMMER!
BUMMER!

Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.

He means a full refund for one tranny. He probably ordered multiple trannies.

Probably just the deposit, of course it would be the full amount he paid for just one. Either deposit or paid in full amount I am thinking.

Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
Sorry for the confusion it wasn't my intent but earlier in this string toyranosaur stated some folks would be disapointed because they wouldn't get multiple tranny's they ordered because he ran out of material. Those peeps would be getting a "refund". I'm one of those peeps. I also ordered 2 sets of wheels from him. I sure hope he had enough material for those wheel orders. I think it should be first come first serve. It's not my fault there were material problems. If there were people that ordered behind me I think whoever was last should get the refund. Am I right or am I rillow? (that's a Texas saying).
PS. I paid in full for both trannys.

Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
As far as I know, there was enough material for all the wheels.
Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
Chris required full payment for the tranny. Deposits were not an option. I agree first come first served but unless you made the payment a microsecond after it was announced, you'd be surprised how far back in the line you are. Ever bought on stubhub for high demand concerts and such? There are peeps on there who I dunno how they log on so fast. Maybe T3 connection or something. Other factors include network delays, paypal delays, etc. who knows.
Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
I also was refunded for one T-case. I ordered 4, have 4 RC10 kits. So now I have one that won't have it. Oh well.
Maybe he can make the cases look nicey nicey like in the pics he has of them.

Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
I just posted in the tranny thread, that Number One, I am sorry that I ended up short! There were enough, not a material prob per se, but a few more than usual got ate up getting the run finalized and it wasn not possible to stop what I had on the docket, re-do Op 1, the set up Op 2 again, it would have been way to expensive. It was my fault in its entirety, no matter what happened, and if I could think of a good enough fib that everyone would feel great about, I'd have used it! Not really.
There was no way not to disappoint some people, nor a 'fair' method that everyone could agree on. So, I took one from some chaps who ordered multiples: This guaranteed that everyone got something. No, it's not a perfect way to go about it, but as such did not exist, I gave it much thought and decided on this. It has never happened before, and will never happen again; I'm not perfect, but like to think I have a better-than-average track record. Anyway, I feel badly about it, and hope the chaps who got dinged can forgive me. Chris REC

personally Chris I've been short lately on my expendable cash so I missed out completely but agree 100% with your way of handling this. Those that were 'shorted' should be greatful for your way of business. I'll have to pick up some someday down the line when they show up.toyranosaur wrote: There was no way not to disappoint some people, nor a 'fair' method that everyone could agree on. In life, no matter how hard you try, you just can't please everyone so I don't see this happening here either. Good luck with issues never coming up like this again but thanx for doing what was right in your mind. Its your business anyway so run it the way you like

Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
true 'fairness' is a notion best abandoned after age 7 or 8, but I try to be as even-handed as possible. Naturally, those that did not get screwed agree with my decision & those that did likely do not- It was gonna be that way no matter what. If it was me that got shorted, I'd be pissed, but a lot more so if I didn't even get one, so that guided the final decision. Chris REC

Yup, the "best worse" situation should be taken in this case.
