My runner

Post by Barrieoldschooler »

So, a while back I posted a pic of my RC10ce and my XX. I had been out of the hobby for quite some time and since getting back into it I've wanted to update my RC10.

So far I've done the front and rear conversion to run b3 rims, used rccarbonworks front and rear shock towers, swapped most of the white plastic to black including rpm arms, went brushless, put on threaded shocks, blue screw kit, b4 top shaft, vts slipper, new "original" body and some fresh bearings. Everything else is original.

I've raced it as well with some great results including a 2nd amain finish. This old girl has completely rekindled my joy for this hobby.

Thought you guys would enjoy these new pics.

You don't have to use the GT wide front axles with B3 rims only if you are going to use the B4 rims.

Very nice; I like it. Doing a similar build on a late CE right now actually and I am thrilled to hear it has been a competitive car for you. WOIN :-)

Thanks! It really surprised me as to how well it performed compared to the newer cars.

Here is a vid of the race I placed 2nd. Was actually leading the race for quite a few laps till the final lap. The guy that won was driving a b4.2.

My apologies about the quality of the video camera. The track owner apparently needs to upgrade it.

Mike: I was unaware it was only to run b4 rims. The track width is virtually identical to my centro. I'm going to try some b4 rims for sure.
