Save message / drafts?

Post by Lonestar »

Hello All

sorry, stoopid noob questions - where do messages go when you mistakenly press the "Save" button and then you get the "Saved as draft" message... so there must be a "draft" folder, but where is it???

Thanks!

I guess in the "saved messages" box that is right under your inbox icon at the left of the screen...

1) go to your inbox
2) at the left of the screen, go to options, then "saved messages"

That's it :!:

Ha - ok, i see where the confusion is coming from.

I don't mean saved private messages, I mean saved replies to threads... when you post on a thread, there's four buttons, Preview, Submit, SAVE, and cancel... where do the "saved" ones go? That's the question... do they cross the Styx??? ;)

Thanks!

Ok, here ya go, for real.

Top right corner of every page you'll see "user control panel". Click that and you go to your personal info page where you can customize your settings for this site. On the left side of the screen you'll see "manage drafts", click that and you'll pull up all your "saved drafts". DO NOT click on the thread title, that only takes you to the thread. Instead, the next cell over has "load draft/view edit", click "load draft" to finish editing and post the message. Once you do that it will automatically clear itself from the drafts folder.

The one that gets me all the time is when I try to submit a post and someone else has already made a post. The forum stops your post from loading with the warning "another post has been made, you want to see it before submitting?" Somehow I always seem to click that instead of bypassing it and getting my message posted. Frustrating when you come back to the thread later and don't find your post.
