I just ordered too. Can we use the stock ball cups or do we need something else?

Re: RC10 Re Re Hop Up Parts
As much as I don't support A-Main, I haven't seen this chassis listed yet and thought some of you guys might be interested since it's not shown on Xtreme's website:

It's missing the holes for the bracket for the nose brace tubes and rear brace

Re: RC10 Re Re Hop Up Parts
Because this is probably usefull, I added the P#1987 turnbuckles to Lunsfords Chart that AIP found:RichieRich wrote:I just ordered too. Can we use the stock ball cups or do we need something else?
I have no idea why lunsford says the worlds rear links are 1/4" shorter than the Team Car. Anyone? So I thought why not construct this photo, as I was curious myself:
So, if you run long arms, you gain 3/8: on each side (ignoring any difference in caster block angles or tower-hole changes for the camber link)
The difference from the inner (under tube) bulkhead hole and the inner 3x3 array column is about 7/16.
Ball cup lengths vary from about 1/2" at stock (bottom), to 7/8" for a long (90's white losi at top) style. Photo has stock/lunsford/rpm/jconcepts/vintage losi for example.
Edit - jconcepts molds their ball cups in a non-glow-in-the-dark white, those are the ticket!

Re: RC10 Re Re Hop Up Parts
On the World's car you run the rear link on the center hole (not the hole under the wing tube).

Re: RC10 Re Re Hop Up Parts
Has anyone tried these Dhawk Racing parts? I was cruising eBay tonight and saw these for the first time.

I haven't seen those before.
Some of the parts look like the ones Atlas made/make

Re: RC10 Re Re Hop Up Parts
I had a few PM's giving me some background on these. I did try searching DHawk on here and it turned up nothing, maybe I used too specific of a search term. If what I was told is true, I am disappointed. I was looking for a quality rear carrier after getting a few sets of the re-re parts and they are so out of tolerance I can not get my rear axle's not to have any play. I'd hate to support a company that engages in unscrupulous practices at the expense of members here.
