DS suspension?

Post by MelvinsArmy »

Are the suspension arms on the RC10DS shorter than a regular buggy? If so, about how wide is a DS? Does it use different dog bones?

I don't know the exact width, but yes they are shorter, and yes they do use shorter dogbones as well.

narrower front and rear arms, narrower front bulkhead and kickup too.

front width on a DS is about an inch narrower than short arm goldtub, rear is about an inch or so shorter as well with shorter dogbones.

Melvin - 8" wide and 10.5" wheel base. The DS was primarily an onroad setup but you can do a bit of tweaking with it.
