Nice I got everything crossed just in case.

Jeff what size shocks are you running on your car?

I just diassembled my whole re-re to rebuild with these new upgrades and those to come. Also looking for a black chassis and nose plate now.

The AE black chassis set should be available now. It's pricey but when's the last time we could buy a new black chassis set for less money??

My narrow arm car has .56 front shocks and 1.32 bodies with 1.02 shafts in the rear. The worlds car has .71 fronts with the same 1.32/1.02 setup in the rear. I run zero front limiters and 2 rear limiters. The worlds car has green rear springs and black front springs with #1 pistons all the way around. The classic has #2 piston and silver springs all around. Both cars are all the way in on the rear tower and all the way out on the rear arm. The classic is in the lower hole in the front and middle on the worlds car. Both use the JConcepts towers front and rear. This may not be the perfect setup for everyone but its a good starting point.

Ok, here's the first ever run with Jason's new classic sporting the soon to be released Double Dees and Rips. Aside from being a little rear heavy on the jumps the car looks great! It looks like the tires will be the perfect match for the car!!

I will have my tires/wheels in hand Monday or Tuesday. I will check the mounting on stock wheels and answer any other questions you guys may have about them.

HI!... Hard to tell from the fuzzy video, but what is that track made of? Is the brown dirt? Or carpet? If that's dirt, that's one smooth track.

The track is orange clay with a couple carpet jumps and some clay jumps.

Thanks for imbedding the video!! It was taken using an iPhone so the quality isn't the best but it's good enough to tell the tires/wheels work.

There's a photo of the car on a vintage Facebook page that shows the "wing things" someone spotted in an earlier post.

Ok, here's the answer to the million dollar question (actually it's the $5 question).....

The JConcepts wheels work with the stock tires.

The JConcepts front tires will mount on the stock wheels. The wheel will rotate if forced so they would need to be glued if the user planned to run them that way.

The JConcepts rear tires will mount on the stock rear wheels, HOWEVER; I messed with them for about an hour and just couldn't get them to seat the bead with the foam inside the tire. If you just want to use them for a shelf queen you can mount them without the foam but I wouldn't suggest running them that way.

Ideally the tires/wheels will be run together. If cost for new wheels is an issue when replacing tires then I'd suggest using acetone to remove the old tires.

Sounds great, when can I order some :) I have a few cars needing tires (Ultima, JRX2) and a short arm car needing the wheels/tires. Would love to see the Hazard wheel with a 12mm hex for the Kcar, that would be great. (I know I am in the AE area, gimmie a break).

Did you trim the foam? Rubber band the tires?

They are shipping to distributors now. You could also try contacting the sales department at JC directly.

I didn't trim the foam because even if you got it to sit right you will need to glue them to keep them from slipping. If the goal is to avoid gluing it wouldn't work either way. I'm sure the inner diameter could be enlarged but that's a lot of effort to save $5 on wheels, especially when you're gonna have to glue them anyway.
