Graphite and B3 Shock Upgrade suggestions

Post by jacksontop »

I am wanting to upgrade my shocks on both my graphite RC10 and my B3.

On the graphite I currently have the AE grey coated anodized from the late 90's with new AE springs. Stock front and rear shock towers. I am running Andy's front and rear A-Arms, B4 hub carriers with B44 rear CVA's to get to the 2.2" wheels. Stealth Tranny. Looking for suggestions on how to make this car handle better on an indoor off-road track. Running a Tekin FX with many different brushed motors, Lightspeed, Trinity Mod, Reedy Mod, etc. Tires are ProLine Holeshot rears and VP201 fronts. Looking for suggestions on better handling.

My B3 is the team version with the graphite front and rear A-Arms. Pretty much stock as of now. Tekin RS-Pro ESC with Novak Ballastic 17.5. Same Proline Holeshot rears and VP201 fronts. Would like suggestions for upgrading suspension handling on this one also.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, interesting question!

this recent topic should be usefull: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=33239#p358858 ?

It contains great tips on how to improve the handling (on power understeer to be exact) of a t3/b3 ...........

Thanks for the help. I have a difficult time with the Search Engine finding what I am looking for so I just try and surf through posts to locate the info.

P.S. - How do I attach pictures? Tried using the Upload Attachment.....selected the file.....pressed ADD THE FILE. It doesn't add it...not sure what the deal is. I am using Google Chrome...not sure if that has anything to do with it.

The file is probably to large, it needs to be under a certain size!

You can also host the pictures on photobucket or something similar... and just put a link to them in your posts.
