Ok ok it is growing on me, I will get one to show and support for jconcepts , but I was hoping for something along the lines of there punisher body. I think a school bus paint job maybe in order

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
It will be 4-6 weeks for the tires/wheels. There should be a few more accessories released then too. Obviously everyone has seen the wing buttons but there's at least one other must have item that's coming. Get your 1/4x3/8 flanged bearings ready.....
Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
Very disappointed in the body,I expected much more from a co. like JC.
The wheels disappoint me more though, I was expecting a standard 2.2 wheel that I could mount any current tire to. JC will lose a lot of wheel sales with this design. Instead of many sets of front and rear wheels so we can mount up several sets of tires to try at different tracks customers will only be able to buy one set of fronts and one set of rears because that is all the tires that are available to fit their wheels. I just don't get it.

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
Eh it's ok, maybe it would look nicer if the roof was painted or cut up like a roll cage and stick a driver in there?
I think I have to get my body design done and prototyped asap
I really dig the wheels, I'll be buying a set for sure

I like the look of the wheels just fine, it's the one-off size I'm not happy about.
And I will get one of the bodies just to see what I think of the looks after I have my personal paint scheme on it. If I like it then it will go on the car, if not it will just sit on a shelf.

I like how they tried making a silk purse out of a sows ear by throwing sick paint jobs on them!
I support JConcepts on their other products, but I will never desecrate my worst RC10 with this body!

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
It looks like they drew up a cab forward body and after hearing people didn't want one for the RC10 they just pushed the cab backward and said DONE!

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
I'm going to support JC and I decided I'm going to pick up at least 1 of everything they make. I use JC gear on all my rides and I'm extremely happy with their products. The more I look at the body it's starting to grow on me and I think my paint scheme will make it look better. Can't wait to see what else they have in store.

It's the Family Truckster of RC10 bodies IMHO.

Should have gone with the powder blue Sport Wagon.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:It's the Family Truckster of RC10 bodies IMHO.

Honestly though, after the initial shock wears off it may look really cool and different when going around the track. Some video will tell the tale.

Re: jconcepts detonator for rc10
nay say all ya want...I think I like it. Need to decide my orange/white schema or purple/neon yellow.
The front tires will fit Jelly beans just fine, but a 1.7 rear and Jelly beans are 1.5 (right?). Love the hazard wheels though, they look great.
Will post up pics once I get one and paint it up.
