The wheels are cool, the body, not so much.

Little fudging in sketchbook pro, I really think they need to angle the windshield back slightly...

Make it nice looking, people will buy it... Make it homely... 'some' people will buy it.

The body does grow on you. I wasn't to crazy about it at first but the image with the white roof is growing on me and I'm starting to like it. Maybe it's just how the white paint hides how upright the windshield is. What size are those new wheels? They do look good. Like the wing buttons.

Angled just a little more than the second pic would be perfect.

Thanks,

The upright windshield of the original reminds me of construction equipment... it's not 'racy' enough to look fast sitting still... or moving :)

I like it. It is growing on me. But I can remember how many people looked at a Protech I in 1984 and said "like, gag me with a spoon". It fits the tub tight.

It does need a re-thinking on the paint job though. Those paint stripe angles everyone does look good in part because of the window angle on a protech or mirage. On that body, the window wouldn't be so much of a shock if it had an original paint design that fit it better. You can see how the white one does the best job at it.

edit - bought one. Thanks Mr. Harris. :D

It reminds of the real dune buggies from the early 80's. I agree if there was a slight bit more rake too the windshield or if the cab area wasn't quite as long, then it would be a homerun. It's not bad the it is though. I kind of like it.

Too bad I didn't get a new classic.

not bad. it grew on me within seconds. there are more uglier bodies out there from the 80's than this new one. it has a funky retro look to it. looks like a long lost cousin to the protechs. i also like the shorter chopped rear portion of the body. that was a good idea, considering after a while of racing that rear portion tends to start tearing off from the rest of the body.

HI!... Wow that's fugly. I thought this new body was going to be something different. It's just a regular RC10 body with some minor changes. :(

Coincidence or intentional that it was released on Halloween?

Still on the fence about this body. Would like more info on the wheels though.
