Since my begin in RC world (in the early 90's), i 'm a Ko Propo Ex 1 addict.
I'm not really a collector but with the time i get 3 models of this line; an AM, FM and a Mars.
I always using my old Mars, i upgrade it with 2.4ghz device, which it allow me to get the smaller KR411fh receiver in my actual cars;
and bring back to a fm modul for my vintage cars
I do love the EX1, the Precious, Mars..
I have EX1 UR in 27 fm. The only thing I don´t like is how she ´drinks´ the batteries.. I wonder if I get a 2,4ghz module batteries will last longer..
wow! amazing thread, particulary the copy of your old japanese magazine with all the EX1 issues...!
if i had saw it before, i'll post my pictures in it
I have a Ex1 precious that didn't use for 15 years years. When it took it out of storage , put some fresh batteries in it won't turn on? Any ideas.
I already check and clean the metal tabs for for the battery tray and radio for any corosion. Anybody know what is wrong or experince this? I really want to repair it.
Next to check is the sliding on/off switch. Disassemble the transmitter and give the on/off switch a good blast of Lectra clean or another sprayable alcohol, while operating it. WITHOUT batteries attached.
When the alcohol has vaporized You can apply the batteries and give it a try.
This I think is kind of like an AA meeting--{ive never been to one though}--only i think it stands for Associated Anonymous. Ya I know we have other addictions----Yok,Tam,Kyo,Los,Sch,Mu+++man that sounds bad. Im sick i tell you sick and there is no...

Its not just Cars and Trucks folks, its aircraft, and I'm only just getting back into cars, my wallet is already cringing.
The big one up front? 55cc, 96 inch wingspan. (It may be a few shorter, I've forgotten.)

My first experience with RC was flying with my dad in the early/mid '70's. He stayed with planes (and choppers) the rest of his life but he and I did buy RC10's in the '80's. Oh, and he had a Tamiya Tank - a Sherman I think.
My entire RC Hobby life has been focused and revolved around Tamiyas. The Tamiya Astute was my first RC, followed by an Egress, Monster racer, and finishing up with a Too Force. That's was it, shortly...

I LOVE the Astute. Took me like 15 years to make handle like I want LOL.
But the RC10. I can just drop it on the track as built per the instructions and it's magic.
I ordered another reedy brushless, exactly the same as the one in the RC10 going...

During the 00's I racked up some major debt on three different credit cards with no real way to pay it off. I closed the cards and for the next two or three years afterward I was able to make the minimum payments. The problem is after I started...
So I'm new to this particular forum and I love it! You all seem very knowledgeable on topic.
I've been running Rc since the early 90's. Recently I became addicted to gold tub rc10's thanks to you guys. I went to the Dr. To try and give me something...

Nice! Haha, but in this case its true. I wish there was still a made in the USA seal on the associated boxes. My 15ish year old b3 has less slop than the 4.1.
That bums me out that we don't have our own making the parts anymore. I was...
I have compiled a number of RC10 project cars and can't wait to get started restoring them. I just need to decide which one to start with and then I will post some pics of my progress. Thanks to everyone for the great info on this site.
