compatible esc

Post by Barnfind »

What esc would be compatible with this motor that is reliable and doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Right now I have a tekin esc with it but it does not have reverse which is why I am looking for a different one with reverse. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looking at the novak m5 esc would that work with the motor?

Novak 410-m5 is also forward only for a vintage reverse you probably want to look for a Novak Rooster/Super Rooster or a Tekin Titan.

If you are not too worried about vintage there are some by Duratrax that looks ok, but you may want to also look into a Castle Creations Sidewinder Sv3 for about the same money... and it will run brushless motors as well :)

If you want reverse, you want a Novak 610-HRV. They're on Ebay often for less than $50.
