Definitely try some setup sheets from rc10.com website. When you use it, it eill give more than enough handling

Almost all my posts will be edited because I know what I want to write, but my fingers always hit the wrong keys.

As the title states I'm way out of my comfort zone on this thing for knowledge. Can the clod gurus tell me what this started as and what I should be looking up parts for? Its got a few nice parts on it and plan on tearing it down to freshen it up...

Thanx for the reply.

I had a new set of gears that I had from somewhere else and picked up another set of new gears. Just couldn't validate the expense of alloy since its not going to get run as hard as a clod deserves to get run so stock will work...

group b isnt the ezrun esc a brushless esc? and if it is can you run a brushed motor on a brushless esc?

It works with both brushless and brushed motors.

The only mod you might have to make is to replace the fan with one capable of 3s voltage...

I am having trouble with the stealth's differential on Project X. When I run for a minute, it seems like the differential screw comes undone or loose, makes an extremely loud noise, and stays still. So I tightened the screw again. Ran it for a...

Maybe some help.I can remember BITD, racers using a hand drill chucked with a dogbone to break-in new and rebuilt transmissions. Makes easier than installing and then noticing the problem, IMO.

I agree with pbr allstar, especially with the current modern dedicated oval cars. From the onset, the RC10 was not designed to be an oval car, but it was made to work in this capacity with mods.

You should be able to trim it out in the radio. Just make a number of straight passes, add a click or two, repeat until It tracks straight. Nothing is ever perfect.
