Aluminum would work for me. Would be especially cool if your anodizer could match the factory RC10 Gold. HMMMM?gomachv wrote:If you wanted an aluminum chassis version they would be easy! We have the recipe for that one! The carbon fiber is a big expense. It's coming.....

I just snapped a pic of the sheet today when I was there. I have done the gold and it was ok but dull. I am having a sample of orange done. Should be close to late model associated. I just noticed tho.....champaign is listed
I need to do another sample.

Remember the part where I said I've never paid over the shop minimum?

This current batch will be the test I guess lol!
Last big one was 4 chassis, nose, and motor plates, bunch of shock bodies and caps, and a bunch of hardware. No sweat

I did not see anybody chime in here, but I am almost certain that the body is a Bolink Baja Bug. It was a lexan version of the Sand Scorcher body. Parma makes it still and it is almost identical to the Bolink, but is a little more detailed.Phin wrote:Don't recognize the front tires but the body looks like it could be an MRP Beetle with the wheel wells cut off.

RJ speed may still have the bolink buck too. I'll start with what's available as this is a tribute car after all.
Box art body would be cool but mr graphite needs to be on the hood!

Mr. Graphite is not a problem. It also just occurred to me that in the ad for this thing, the wheels appear to be the gold plated Tamiya Fox wheels? Not sure how the rears would work with the Kyosho hexes as I am not familiar with the back side of a Fox wheel.

Fox in the rear, Hotshot in the front.Vintagemishal wrote:Mr. Graphite is not a problem. Edit: Looking again they could be fox rears in the front.

I think they are Fox all around. The only reason I do not think it is Hotshot, is because I don't think the Hotshot had that much of a dish to it. I think the Hotshot was a more positive offset wheel.

Well, we are gonna pump out so many of these things (maybe 4? Lol) that we can build a magazine art and a box art car

Re: A-Main Bullet Fwd 4ws RC10 conversion Tribute build
Great work and very cool, I'm interested too. The front wheels look like CRP fox or wild one wheels.
