I wish and I bring it up at every meeting we have about new projects but it's shot down every time. It's not as simple as tossing the tools in the machines and running again. I'll keep trying but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Maybe you need to invite some of us to your meetings to apply some pressure!
If losi did a jrx2 then associated would have to retaliate with a graphite kit, then losi would go plastic, and associated back to aluminum. Wait... Haven't I heard this story before?

And you would not have people complaining about rere parts being sold as originals!
Mmmm Commemorative Mini line, with the parts exchange from the jrx line you could almost have a single commemorative kit that you could build anything from a Jrx2 to a LXT I would buy the heck out of that! lol
Chris
Tamiya already did it and they were truly awful little machines, imho.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Super excited to see how this goes this week in Chico, best of luck to the TLR guys, go Mr Bloomfield!
I dont get the name 22-4 though, I thought 22 was 2wd, 2 motor config. Whats gonna happen when they bring out an updated version 22-4 2.0!?
It does "break" the story behind the name of the 22. Should it be the 14? or 41?
I'm gonna turn one into a Rally Weapon, I've got the parts, hopefully I can make them all fit. 22-4-RW?

So has Losi, the Mini T was quite nice actually, I have a couple. They are pretty sweet scaled down xxxt's. Make a Jrx2 with that dedication to miniaturization and I bet it would be equally as good. Losi did not invent the mini scale catagory, but they did make it successful.
Anyways, the original 1/10 cars Tamiya emulated were not renowned for handling... and the small versions were more loose interpretations of the big ones.
Chris
Losi - Jrx2, Pro, Jr2, Pro SE, JrxT, JrT, LXT, NXT, XXKE, XXTG+
Mini - T, LST, LST2, Crawler
Micro - Trekker, SCT, T
Crawlers - Trx4 Defender, Bootleg Bruiser Shelf Queen
-Bashers under contruction- Jrx2

You are quite right about that last part, Tamiya took bad handling cars and made them a little worse.
That being said, it would be quite neat to have a tiny JRX2 with tiny 5 link suspension.

Keep trying all they can do is keep saying no...Is there a way that we can help with our voices ????? Do you have a number we can call ???I would be more than happy to blow up a answering machine with this request
Late Edinger Gold Pan # 6010 .....Vintage Blackfoot....Electrix Circuit Stadium Truck ....Kyosho Ultima Pro XL
I may have to just run my XX4 for a while and see how many 22-4 parts I can swap in as I break/wearout stuff.
I've been staring at the parts wondering the same thing. The one piece Shock Tower/Diff Top Cover looks very cool indeed. No more disassembling a large amount of the car to get to the diff or to replace the side belt. Or to swap the Spur Gear.

Like in the video with Todd Hodge, mine is going on the shelf next its predecessor, the XX4. I might pick up some TLR ally hubs for the rear just 'for show'. If only Trinity did ally upgrades for it
