Yeah. My favorite gift was watching the kids open their gifts. My wife wanted to buy me a grill but was not sure if I would like it. I said, "It's a grill. It cooks meat. I'm a guy. I would love it." So we went to pick it up. It was a Brinkmann that is half black and half stainless. But while I was on the phone with a customer, a couple girls came up and snatched the last one they had. So I got nuttin' for Christmas. But I hear Santa may make a late run in Jan. and bring me a WII or a full stainless grill. I just don't know which I would rather have. I'll let her make the decision.MONSTER wrote:.....I believe the Gift getting part of Xmas is just for the Kids. THEY made out like BANDITS!!!
Glad everyone had a good one!!!

WOW, Looking good hoopty.
Im impressed with the crawlers these days. I thought about building one, but I have so many other projects that need my attention, it will have to wait.
Im sure you frequent the crawler forums. Here in OR we have the ORCRC group. Theres some amazing scale rigs out there.

For scale rigs, some of the best stuff I've seen comes out of rbgerrish. That man lives to build scale!MOmo wrote:Im sure you frequent the crawler forums. Here in OR we have the ORCRC group. Theres some amazing scale rigs out there.

nice work hoopty Is that a lap top doubling as a rc truck stand? My cousin had a 87 samuri with a 6inch lift on it, that thing was slow but was a great crawler! Have fun with it!

I come from a long line of practical gift givers, and oddly enough, my girlfriend is a practical kind o' gal! Last year I bought her a rototiller and for her birthday she bought herself a chainsaw. We had agreed not to exchange gifts this year, but I found the chipper after a year long search and couldn't pass it up. She's yet to use either the chipper or the rototiller, that's been left to me. Apparently practicality can only be taken so far ...

I bought the wife a vacuum cleaner for her birthday one year.
I still reach for the testicles every time she fires it up.
And I don't sit around the house naked anymore
