need help identifying motor

Post by marlo »

Anyone ever seen a greenish plug on a motor like this before? Too early for a mid? Part # is 6501, but in the manual it calls for a 6500. Any ideas?

In the RC10 manual (yellow) page 37 ,the plug is dark like mine, but most of the photos in the manual look to be for the early Edinger, and would like to know if its to early, or even the correct motor for my "mid". The bagged number (6501) is not the same as the manual #(6500), was that just a kit type number?
