Correct. It's obvious that this seller is a dirt oval guy, where mid-motor chassis setup is very common. We run our B3 gearboxes reversed in all of our cars on high-bite tracks.

Good eye.

Ah, that makes sense. I kinda remember that now that you mentioned it. I was racing Kyosho's back when the rc10 came out so I wasn't really up on them. Didn't get any Associated stuff till about 2000. Still trying to catch up on all the old stuff. Thanks.....

WooHoo!! It's mine.

It's going straight into the long-term, super-secret project box. 8)

Hopefully I'll get this project wrapped up this winter. I just need to get off my lazy butt, sell some mannequin hands to fund it and get it done.

That just sounds so weird. :P

I just happened to catch the TV show "how it's made" the other night, they were showing how they made mannequin's. The funniest thing was that they blurred out the foam boobs.

That's hilarious. I spent about 6 years working in a mannequin factory. I painted their faces. I've got a HUGE collection of hands that I've been slowly selling off on ebay.

Well hmm. I'm trying to think of a hint that won't give it away. Think RC10, lots of awesome parts, some custom made just for this project and think baja/sand dune vehicle. That's all I can say for now, because it's really still in it's infancy. Well, most of the parts are gathered, just not the most important one.

The tranny arrived today. It looks pretty awesome, a nice piece of aluminum. No markings at all, so it's origins remain a mystery. Definately one of my best pieces now.
