RC10L2 lower pod plates ASC8204

Post by RAL »

I need one! I've looked everywhere and can't find one. Does anyone know where to get one? I would appreciate any ideas.

The SS pod is very different than the L2 wide lower plate and won't work.

Do not buy that if you want a RC10L2 pod plate!
ASC8319 is for the 200mm wide old style rear pod. (RC10LSS, RC10LSO)
ASC8204 is 235mm wide "new" style rear pod. (RC10L2)

In this photo RC10L2 on the left, RC10LSO on the right.

Ah, my bad. So would a regular 10L pod plate work? There are a ton of those on eBay.

And the 10L2 t-plate is symmetrical. The 10L plate is offset. Screw holes don't line up.

I'd suggest building to an L2.5 but I don't believe L3 Touring pod plates are any easier to find.

I can do the L3 conversion but not a huge fan of the amount of axle that sicks out. If I cant find a plate I'll have to convert or get one made.

This week I'm going thru some old boxes, if you don't mind installing a used lower pod plate, I'll dig one out.

I know I have at least one, if not, two of them...
