As a newbie here I have to ask...has a thread ever grown more quickly on this place?
yea i never did find a bushing adapter part #... so funny i was thinking the other way for years, just never went from bushings to bearings to figure it out for myself.. thanksscr8p wrote:6606 is used whether you had bushings or bearings.longboardnj wrote:all my 6 gears i run have bearings but i thought some one told me (long time ago)if you had a bushing 6 gear you need the 6606 bearing adapter cause the bushing trans has a different size in that location and thats why you need the bearing adapter 6606. is that correct? i have not converted a bushing trans to bearing so i was not sure.
Well, going by post count anyway, that pretty much supports what I was assuming...bearing in mind those forums have much larger memberships than this one.Wandy wrote:Current number of posts on the other four main RC forums...

Today is 6/6/2013 . Tower still has the kits listed as mid august . No out of stock notice yet. But they have in the past changed the availible date to a later month.civilguy wrote:Will they have to honor the order that posts were made here that say "I'll buy one (or 2)"?flipwils11 wrote:I hope the folks taking preorders honor them based on timing/sequence when they came in and don't pull some crap like a lottery to settle it.![]()
In all seriousness, that'll be a tough one to sort out depending how orders are placed. If it truly going to be that 'limited', there are going to be some upset people.![]()
On the other hand though, if there are only 2000 (or whatever small-ish number) I find it odd that Tower would mass email everyone that the RC10 is being re-released. To me that would be some poor marketing to not be able to fill orders. Unless they really thought there would be no interest.
