Hello!
I have some different projects going on at the same time and to save forumspace i have decided to make one single thread about some cars and parts i have in my hobbycloset. I hope this is okey.
First out is a rc10 with a custommade Carbon/kevlarchassis from a friend of mine. The body is a parma beetle and the paint is made by Jon Miller in the UK.
I have added a set of aluwheels, i think the manufacture is TA, but please correct me if im wrong.
This car is not finished yet..
Some pics:
the chassi is laminated by a friend of mine, he also did the painful job to cut it out, the kevlar fibres aint fun to deal with i can asure you.
See´s wheels after some google research of my own, thanks for the help identifying them.
I have a set of technacrafts i will add on the tomorrow.
Here is some timetypical electronics i have received from a friend, i cant use them cause we have 220v in Sweden...
I guess lavco was what everybody wanted to have in the early 90´s.
On the picture is one lavco pro dyno, three cellmate´s (funny name) and three chargemate´s.

I'll be interested to see how that aluminum top shaft holds up under the torque of that 7.5 motor.
OK on special request I´m starting a thread on RC-related classic or vintage t-shirts what are in some sort of special. For not going more offtopic at this thread
Starting will pics of the old t-shirt from the Ranch Pit Shop (RPS) source of Team...
Starting this thread as a common place for all vintage 1/8 scale onroad cars. Show your Delta, Thorp, Marker, MRP, Dynamics, Associated, or whatever car you have. Show vintage stuff as old bodies, rare motors, carburators or mufflers. Ask any...
I thought this might be a good place for people to post with regards to the old sub-c batteries. Wether it be charging, discharging, storage or tips and tricks on getting the most out of them, maybe this could be the place for us to share on what we...

It was pretty common practice (back in the day), to use resistors to bring the cell voltage down close to zero to remove the memory effect that all nickel cadmium batteries exhibit.
The only problem I ever had with this was the fact that no two...
I brought up this idea in someone else's thread, so I'm bringing it up here instead of continuing to de-rail theirs.
Since there's a lot of us folks who buy and/or collect old brushed motors, I thought it might be useful if we had a sticky thread...

That is precisely correct. :)
What I've found about brushed motors from doing the reference guide is things were very loosely structured in many ways. I wouldn't be surprised if like mentioned, different brands of endbells, cans, etc... were used...
