My old is new RC10 vintage racer build thread!

Post by Racinjason2316 »

Ok so I am starting a new build on an old buggy. I'm going to see how much new technology I can inject into this vintage dog. Lots of new tech AE stuff , such as VTS slipper clutch, B44 aluminum rear hubs with carbon "c" towers,b44 CVA axles, ceramic diff and thrust bearings, hex B4 wheels and I may even take a stab at "co-planar" steering like the new cars have. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

My recommendation is lots of searching. There are tons of threads on optimizing using newer components

I'm lucky enough to have a b4.2 , t4.1 and sc10.2 here that I can test fit parts from!

I'll be interested to see how that aluminum top shaft holds up under the torque of that 7.5 motor.
