I just did the B2 Conversion on my first graphite. If you want to use the original hub carriers, you can use:

Associated bearing part No: 9277 3/16 x 3/8 Flanged Ball Bearing @ $15.00 per pair

Hope this helps any looking to use their old hub carriers.

I have truck carriers as well as the old ones. I don't mid changing.. but I thought the B2 wheels were tough to find. Are they for 2.2 wheels?

for future reference, this is THE place to get bearings. you can't beat $1.00 each.

OK cool thanks!

So are the fron evader wheels the same for nitro and electric? Also, are these wheels nilon? are they dyable? some colors ar cheaper but I want black wheels anyway... so whatever color I would have to dye them.

Thanks

i believe the fronts are the same between the gas and electric version. i've been wanting to get a set of them the last couple time i ordered from tower, but i keep forgetting about them.

i'm not sure what they're made out of, so i don't know if they're dyeable.

I just compared the part numbers from the Duratrax site (exploded views) front wheels are the same. Rears are different.

I'm assuming the fronts are 2.2?

What about the Jammin CRT5 wheels? Isn't that a 1/12 truck?

According to Tower the wheels are 2.4 and use hexes. So I suppose once can strech 2.2 wheels to fit on those?

Scr8p,

Thanks for the link. I'm learning as I go on resto's. I was in a rush after over spending trying to get the B2 wheel concept to work. I think I paid $40 just for the MIP cvd's (since the LHS only had the MIP B2 cvd's in pieces). Next time I will be more patient.

If anyone knows the link to the right Duratrax front and rear wheel for the B2 wheel setup, please post the link.

The Jammin's are great. Just mounted a set today. They are 2.2, and with the HPI adaptors, they fit just fine. If you want an easy/cheap way to mount current tires to old RC10s, I feel this is the best bet...

Dunno, they feel nylon-ish and are available in white/yellow.

I should know this but I am trying to recall the size of the front wheel bearings for the b2 wheel on the rc-10? I i think its an unflanged 3/16 x 3/8. Can anyone confirm this?
