I've never been but Flamborough is a lot closer to me than Pickering. I don't care where we meet though, I'm in for sure.

I miss Crowe's..

It was dusty and sometimes muddy, but I had a lot of fun running my RB5 there..

Re: Any Canadians on this board?
Well Marvin funny you should mention it, I was just talking to the owner last week and he was sadto tear it down after 18 years. but unfortuanatly in this day in age people sue other people when they are stupid and/or trespass. He said he enjoyed seeing us run out there, but after numerous Do not enter signs being ripped down etc, then watched a kid take a crossbar off the nuts he decided it was time. Super nice guy and I thanked him for the years of open come as you go track free of charge.....Still bums me out.
Sleeps with a night light on, not because he's scared of the dark but because the dark is scared of him...........stay thirsty my friends

I'm bumping the thread to see if there are any vintage people left? I have tons of vintage race stuff that I would love to run against other old skoolers.

I'm back in Kitchener/Waterloo area from Germany... spent the last 22 months in Germany, but am back in Canada now. I'm building a vintage runner over the winter and hope to maybe run it next spring/summer somewhere.urban hype wrote:I'm bumping the thread to see if there are any vintage people left? Re: Any Canadians on this board?
I wish I was closer, there are a few tracks out west here. West being Calgary, Sounds like that track would have been a ton of fun even after 18 years!
Makes me want to sell it all and buy some land and open a hobby shop with a track!!

Well it is nice to see that there are some people left. Hopefully we can all meet at a track and have an old skool showdown.

Re: Any Canadians on this board?
I'm in the KW area as well. There is a new club (Tri-City Off-road Racing Club) in the area that has taken over the old RC track at Erbsville Kartway. They just started up at the end of the summer, but have already rebuilt the track and built a drivers stand. See here for more info:uniquenamehere wrote:I'm back in Kitchener/Waterloo area from Germany... spent the last 22 months in Germany, but am back in Canada now. I have not actually made it out there yet, but from what I have seen online it looks good. I plan on joining up in the spring.

I'm in Burlington and would drive out to KW, Cambridge, maybe even London if it meant there was a vintage race happening.

For you guys in Southern Ontario , try LondonRC.com . Local forum with some threads on Vintage stuff . Not too many vintage guys west of west of Toronto .
