Ok, time for a real question - where do Yokomo rebuilders source the black aluminum phillips head metric screws?

Why are woman's feet small?....... So they can stand closer to the sink!

Re: Yokomo RPS SE Stock Resto
Do they offer them in black?
And I guess I better ask if the black screws are original on the RPS SE?

Re: Yokomo RPS SE Stock Resto
no gold on the bottom and blue on the top side. but we are using metric here and it's easy to get black steel screws from hardware stores and rc shops. i'll ship Al's wheels to you soon i'm gonna put some black screws in the package as well
and I believe rps offered the same blacks screws in the kit

Re: Yokomo RPS SE Stock Resto
and I'm confused with the size. I'm not sure if they are 5x8 or 4x10. I'll measure them and update the result later

That is awesome, the 1st rc car I wanted was one of those. The guy behind the counter refused to sell it to me... the guy must have been making to much money 25 yrs ago.

Re: Yokomo RPS SE Stock Resto
Hi Brian.
Great pick up you have there Brian. I really find the 834 series to be of great interest. I don't know if it was the old PRS adds from RCCA or the 'chain saw' drive system but one this is for sure these cars have street cred and real history. Wish I could have held on to mine now
Back at one of the first vintage meetings I went to this old timer walked up and showed us this old beast. It was the car he and his son used to race back in the day. He's had it all this time. Now that is cool!
