Just completed my Associated tub collection nitro DS

Post by discgolfer72 »

Now I have every flavor of the RC10 tub chassis.

Nitro DS

I got it off feepay for a bit to much 120$ missing 1 front and one rear tire.

Again my local hobby shop is useless only onroad tires in stock are these hpi tires that have a bigger opening on one side

Made a crap shoot and bought some losi mini slider tires and they actually work need to add some foam though.

I need need to get some rear tires and paint the body i bought today in its good to go

CV motor is like new chassis has only 1 or 2 light scratches I'm betting this one was a shelfer.

the tires i got that fit (its a tight fit ,and it will require extra foam. as they are kinda sucking in in the middle . maybe just stiffer foam)

losi part # sosb1170
front/rear tires w/foam, street meat tread : mini -t

they probaly wont work on the rear (at least on mine ) the rear rims are a bit larger

Looks good. How are the losi tires working for you?? If you ran it yet. I have 2 ds's that I run 1 with touring car wheels and I need new tires for the other I have the wheels but I just was curious as to how those held up before I bought them.

i wont be running this one its a shelf queen

but the tires should hold up as well as any other

tho id try some associated 18 tires the factory 18mt tires have lasted me a looooonnngggg time on my 9200kv brushless 18mt (not replaced a tire since the original mt was released )

if i can find another set of rims ill run them on my electric ds its already been ran so its all scratched on the bottom

Cool to know you are making progress....i was bidding as well on this DS but maxed out at $75.

I like the tire idea..
