prolly one of the best designed suspension geometries ever...
plus it truly had a revolutionnary weight balance.

one of the greates 4wd ever, still wins races 15 yrs after its release, if we had the batteries 15 yrs ago that we have now it woulda won EVERYTHING!

Good question.
So good car ( never drove it but everyone says is great) that made me take of my two XX4 and prepare for action.
But the belts...

Mostly the ground clearance (due to the small size of the diff pulley), long suspension travel, and weight distribution with the saddle packs batteries at the back of the chassis and the motor mounted center line in the front of the chassis are the two main reasons the car ran well.

Yep,suspension geometry.
It uses the XX CR rear geometry that was well proven and had all the bugs worked out by the time the XX4 arrived.
And,yeah-Gil Jr. designed it!

Ever seen the magnesium chassis prototype?
It's wild!

One Losi Wheeler I would have loved to have seen was the JRX-S Off Road prototype.
I've owned a few JRX-S touring cars and they are just so smooth...Symmetrical,too.
Last car Gil Jr. designed before Horizon Hobby bought them out.
