Alternative to original XX velcro battery strap

In case anyone is interested, I found these to be a perfect match to the original XX velcro battery strap set - A4010:

I wonder if there's anyone out there doing similar Velcro straps but in neon yellow? I replaced the original black straps for the yellow ones that were sold by UK Losi distributers 'Helger' under the Trick Bits banner Bitd, I would love to find some more for my recreation of that old XX

There's this option but not sure whether it's the right shade of yellow:

However, the downside is that you'd have to buy 5m.....

....but unfortunately it's 25mm wide so you would need to trim it down 16mm to achieve the correct width.

This is only 4mm wider than the original XX velcro battery straps so it will fit the front loops but not the rear, it would definitely need to be trimmed. And, being white, you'd be able to dye it using some Rit fabric dye the colour of your choice.

Colour co-ordinated battery straps......now there's a thought.....!

The item is a genuine Velcro product and is branded as One-Wrap. It's essentially hook on one side and loop on the other and it simply sticks to itself.

Normal Velcro usually comes in two parts, hook and loop, that you either stick or stitch to whatever you want to join together.
