What size would you recommend? The parts list on the TA website listed pinion s from 15 to 24 teeth.

It's been a while but i want to say in the teens- I'd start at a 16-18 and go up as needed. The goal being good run time balanced with good performance. That will cool things off both on the motor and the speed control

Looks like A Main Hobbies has a lot of 48P pinion gears. Should be no problem for me to get pretty much any size.

Got several pinions in this week. Put the lowest on last night, a 16T. Car runs for as long as the battery will hold up and does not overheat. Don't have to hold back at all. It does seem somewhat under-powered now, though. I'll start working my way up in size and see if I can find one with better speed but that still does not overheat the ESC.
