Exactly, it acts like it should just not putting out power to the motor. I got this speed control along with a bunch of other parts so if it's nuked it won't be a big loss. I'll just go with a new Novak brushless system if it can't be fixed. I could also start hunting for another one since these are fairly common. I'll have to think on it. I've got lots to do on this project anyway so it's really not much of a setback. I'll probably start working on the wing and mounts for the second body.gomachv wrote:So did you say the light flashes when you give it throttle? Like the light knows its getting a signal but not sending power to the motor?
Could be a lot of things but it wouldn't hurt to throw a voltmeter on the motor leads and see what's up. The setup on those older speed controls was tricky and it may just be that simple

Man if the lights are reacting to the trigger but no output it's either dead or the motor is dead. You sure you got the endbell clocked correctly, right? If its the right degree off it may not run. Probably fried esc tho.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Too bad about the T4. Hope you can get it sorted out. It sure looks the part.
Your Mustang will look sweet painted up.
I'll save the case from this T-4 and swap out the guts with another functional T-4 if I can't get it going. The case looks like new.

I ran the motor up on another car and it's good. Looking like fried esc to me. Will do some more research though. I'll open up the case and see what it looks like in there.gomachv wrote:Man if the lights are reacting to the trigger but no output it's either dead or the motor is dead. Re: RC10L Runner
Another project that sat for way too long. I decided to get serious with it in the end and made some performance upgrades. It's no longer a junk yard dog.
This got her moving!
![Image](http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x277/Jagdgeschwader2/rc10l0_zps92f4f129.jpg)
Other than the soldered on motor wires this one was new. I just lubed the bearings and connected it to my setup.
![Image](http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x277/Jagdgeschwader2/p2_zpsa7b9d16a.jpg)
I also added a NOS HPI carbon front brace, Hyper Drive angled aluminum servo mounts and the proper Associated spacers to drop the nose down.

The rear wheels look really nice, did you cut them down or was this pair narrower![Question :?:](./images/smilies/icon_question.gif)

Thanks man! The Sunoco decals are made by Mr. Lexan. I wish he would make some more of them.LoboNYC wrote:Love the fact that you got the correct decals for the body...i used the same body but decals read "HPI RACING" instead of "SUNOCO CAMARO"

Re: RC10L Runner ****FINISHED****
Thanks! I used 2" rears since they have an offset and then cut off the excess. They now fit a standard rear tire. Once I trim a bit off the inner front hubs they will have a nice fit too.RC10resto wrote:Another beauty![]()

Thanks! It seems like the really rough ones turn out the best for me. I nearly threw this car out when I first saw it.
