I don't think so, I think the spec cars were the xxx buggy and xxx truck.

Are you sure those are not rears that have been cut to make wide 4wd fronts. Those tires have a pretty distinct line in the middle. I have done that in the past when I was running 4wd.

I went back through the Losi archived pages and there is never any mention of blue Spec tires for 4wd that I can find. Only parts for 2wd Buggy and Truck.

Wow, never would have guessed. I can find all sorts of mentions of the spec 2wd but nothing 4wd.

Wow, just re-visited this thread... what an amazing selection of aftermarket parts for the XX4! I suppose the longevity of the platform means there's plenty of scope/time for people to develop option parts?

P.S; Wheelspin models is always worth a look for older Losi parts

This is great - lot's of chat on this awesome model of losi . I was with u Jammin - only ever had seen 2wd & truck variants of the dirt spec's - stoked to know 4wd frt's are out there - and very appreciative to JK for the invaluable info provided mate :!:

Your 100% correct D/Dan - the amount of manufacturers that had developed hop up's for the Xx series seems to be quite a few .

Not good for my wallet as it's hard to say NO

After finding 1 of these about 18 months ago - and it going M.I.A in the post when the deal was done - I was recently helping my mate sort his rc room , I popped a box and this cherry jumped out at me - a 2 speed transmission - after hassling the sh!t out of him - he relented and I finally persuaded my mate to sell me this killer hop up - it is described for on road use only - it will go on a shelf built .

Cheers
