Someone with a T2 chassis and B4 body that can do some tests

Post by jwscab »

Does anyone have a T2 chassis and B4 body and can put the body on the chassis and see how much interference there is? Particularly, looking to see if the width of the chassis is too wide, and the front and rear tapers would fit under the body.

if you also have a B2 or B3, can you do the same experiment with a B4 body?

The t2 chassis and b4 body aren't very compatible. The rear taper good/flats on side good/front taper would have to be spread out 3/8" on both sides to make it work. The taper starts conflicting about 1" forward of the side 'flats' of the chassis.

The b3 chassis and b4 body is doable if you don't mind spreading the front 2" of the body approx. 1/8" out. With a little heat on the lexan I think it would be help it out a little.

I might be able to get pix for ya this weekend if you would like a better idea of how it looks...

Todd thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for and your explanation is perfect. If you feel like taking some pics for future reference that would be awesome but not necessary.

Kyosho rb5 bodies fit very well. Almost perfect. That's what I'm running on mine.
