Re: THE FROG GEARBOX PLATES OF CARBON
I think it would look pretty sweet. Might need some braces along the edges of the plates so they don't spread apart like the stock metal ones do.

Very nice! Those would be an ideal blank canvas for a custom transmission too

Re: THE FROG GEARBOX PLATES OF CARBON
That's pretty sweet. It would look great with a custom trans, battery plates, front and rear shock towers. I'm going to follow this build for sure.

Nice job... how did you make that? Do you have access to a CNC machine?
How thick is that material?

Re: THE FROG GEARBOX PLATES OF CARBON
I'm not sure if he is using a CNC or not, but if you are making a one-off copy of the metal plates a pin router will do just fine
I have a thread here if you search "pin router".

Re: THE FROG GEARBOX PLATES OF CARBON
The carbon plate is 2.1mm very high quality stuff.
Go to kyosho and there youll finf LA SCORPIONE VERSIO CARBON and there is an dirct link to my site where I have showed how I do the parts.
I use the original parts as blueprint and uses dremel and special tools to work with.
