2.2" wheel FYI

Kyosho USA still carries the UM414 wheel. Originally for the Ultima RB. It is a 2.2" size, and looks amazingly like a B2/B3 rear wheel. Just got a set the other day.(for my RB)

Funny thing is, the front wheels are 2.2" as well, and no Kyosho doesn't have any of them, and they use standard 3/8" X 3/16" bearings.

Where can you get them. I'm guessing the 1/4" drive wheels?

Go to Kyosho.com and follow the links to the USA sector, and go to the online store.

These are for the 3/16" axles like what comes on the B3. Lots of the guys running newer rubber on the RC10's use the B3 or duratrash wheels with the rear axle conversion. Guess what, B3 rears are no longer made, and are getting hard to find.

Was looking for a good alternative to using the Duratrax wheels. So the front and rear Kyosho wheels are the same size and offset as the B2/3 wheels?

Kyosho has/had two different versions of these rims. The first versions were made by kyosho and were a 5 spoke design. The later ones were made by Pro-Line for the B2/3 series of cars, and repackaged for the RB series of cars from that era. These rims are the best option for running modern tires on the RC10 series of cars. Unfortunately suspension technology (and susiquently rim design) changed soon after. This means that they are very hard to come by because they were not manufactured for very long. So using them to support a vintage racer would be nearly impossible. -Jeff

No. actually I bought the rest they had in stock, here and in Japan! . That is why I said it would be NEARLY impossible to support a vintage racer properly. BTW, if you measure the rear width on those rims you will find that the Kyosho/Proline rears are the only ones that are the proper dimensions for modern rubber . -Jeff

Good to know, ordered another few pair of the rear Kyoshos. I did try a set of HB Beams on the Associated rears and fitment was great. For some reason, that particular tire seems just a tad bit narrower than the other brands.
