Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox
If you've got a Slash or other type of short course truck you could always do something like this..:

Proline's got street tires & RPM's got wheels...

I'll get at you soon. It doesn't really say what size so I'll have to get and build the hornet and test fit the body to see what can fit.gomachv wrote:I have quite a few of the twinn-k/Aj's tires and wheels
Get me some dimensions on what you would like and I probably have them or something close

Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox
Well, if I hadn't been a tool and covered the label in the pic I could tell ya right now! Doh! Ill get you the specs tonight
Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox
Front wheels and tires and Rear tires ordered (thanks gomachv), 55 Chevy body ordered and received, sourced and ordered rear wheels just need to order the hornet. I know not that expensive but after Christmas I'm a little tapped so it might not be until next payday.
Should be able to get it all built and ready by the end of the month but will have to wait on paint until it warms up as my shop right now is no place to be painting anything!

Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox
Picked up a couple of supplies yesterday! I've got just about everything I need to get this going and will be ordering a new Hornet this week. But as you can also see in the picture there are a few other projects that are waiting so this may be a slow build!

Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox
That would be cool but might be hard to find some 1/10 scale crager wheels!jwscab wrote:this would be an awesome replica:

Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox
Dangit, y'all! I wanna build one now!
Like I need another project: of the 7 current "toys" only one is drivable. It still lacks a painted body and some knick knack details...

Re: 55 Chevy Shoebox
Why let that stop you I'm at about 30 cars and I think I could run 7 of them. And not only do I have this project but I have 2 cars that I need to rebuild to sell and I'm always looking for moreBigPun76 wrote:Dangit, y'all!
