Any rc10 forensic experts here?

Post by chrisisacoolguy »

What I have here is my dad's what I assume to be early 90's-ish rc10. I'm assuming it's an rc10, hence posting in this section. I don't know what's on it, I'm hoping you guys can help deduce what parts these are. The following is my 1st batch of pics, I can take detailed shots of anything that needs it.

He says that like its no big deal  pretty cool car and the conversion stuff is in-demand right now. It looks like it would probably clean up real well. Got a fun project ahead of you!

Now for fun, it also has a Trinity Slot II stock motor, guessing a Novak 410 M5, or M1c Losi stagger rib front tires and Losi rear tires, tecnacraft turnbuckles and HPI rims 8) and a losi slipper (prob had a hydradrive on it at one point)

With raceprep connectors.

That is nice RC-10 now, but after you clean it up it will be extra nice!

And filthy and covered with dust and cobwebs haha! you guys are good

the ESC says t-4 Tempfet

and airtronics radio. The controller itself is filthy and missing the battery cover. I have a feeling too though I haven't pulled them out, there's some corroded batteries in there

So that's what an RC10 A.I.R.S. body looks like!

I've never seen one until now and it's got to be one of my favorites.

Pretty sure it's an AIRS for the JRX-Pro SE, not the RC10- but the conversion suggested the Pro-SE shell for fitment

now that I know what it is, and that I DON'T want to try and wrench on it myself, would someone be willing to clean/tune up said car? Nothing appears to be broken, I would just like it in running order as a father's day gift to my father. (PMs welcome)
