No wonder I'm steady as a fugging rock all the time! Seriously though, I love the fiberglass/polished aluminum look. I always hated fiberglass up until about a year ago when I started seeing how great it looked with aluminum - inum. 8)

yeah, x2 on all of that :D

I cant wait to piece this all together, especially once the aluminum nerf wings and spur gear cover is complete  we need a drooling emoticon :?:

Maybe I should order a body for it someday.

It's looking sexy, but will look even hotter with its custom bling eventually. I've got to ditch the black screws and the black rod ends, so that's next.

I flip flopped on polishing them. The polished look flows with the rest of the polished parts but I'm still not sure if they will take away from the "sporty" look once the body is complete. IMO, chrome looking rims are for show and an aluminum finish is more for performance and sport. It was a hard call on my part.

They don't look too blingy to me. They look very business like to begin with. When you get some tires on them I think they will blend in just nicely.

Is Rod going to do a few motors for this one? Any more pics of the body you are going to use with it?

I can honestly say that it looks like it is doing 100 mph sitting still.

Hey Dave

This one isn't going to have any electronics, but I have a motor I want restored that I had from back in the day. I'm going to buy a McAllister Toyota GTP body for it eventually. I pained one up for Rod not to long ago. There are two Toyota paint schemes that were used on the full sized cars and I painted one of them on Rod's car and I'm going to paint the other on mine. You can see them both on the first post.
